Just east of the city of Aquaba in Southern Jordan, Wadi Rum is a natural marvel, containing some of the country’s highest mountain peaks.
Though currently home to a sparse population of Zalabia Bedouin, it has been inhabited
for many generations predating the Islamic period, evidenced by a wealth of petroglyphs
dating back to Thamudic times.
